Gaza - NATUF
In partnership with Is’ad Al- Tofola Park Center; NATUF for Environment and Community Development implemented the closing ceremony of Summer Camp project “My rights and My Environment 2017”, which was held at Is’ad Al- Tofola Park Center on Thursday, 27 July 2017; funded by the French Relief organization (Secours Populaire Français) and the “Spring of Ideas” organization in Tunisia.
The children of the summer camp and their families participated in the closing ceremony as it began with the national anthem, by one of the facilitators of the summer camp “My rights and My Environment 2017”. The ceremony included many different sketches, such as children's participation in singing, a band performed the Palestinian Folkor of Dabkah dance and the magician's part.
It is worth mentioning that the project is part of the efforts of the NATUF which aim to develop the skills and experiences of the children and to promote social norms in various activities. (100 children) participated in the camp which last for 10 days from different age group (7-14 years).
The project aimed at encouraging and entertaining children, helping them to provide diverse programs and educational activities for children, developing the spirit of teamwork and creativity, discovering and knowing the tourism and heritage sites in the country, and promoting and maintaining the green environment they live in.
