NATUF - GAZA
Natuf for Environment and Community Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Aqsa University. The meeting was attended by Dr. Kamal Al-Sharafi, Chairman of Al-Aqsa University, Dr. Ayman Sobh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fayiq Al-Naouq, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Nemat Alwan, Vice President for Cultural Affairs and Public Relations, Dr. Nihad Al-Yazji Vice President for Development and Community Service, Dr. Riyad Yabo Zanad Dean of Students Affairs and Eng. Mr. Hassan Ouda Vice Chairman, Executive Director Eng. Mr. Ramy Hussein and Project Coordinator Manar Al - Sarraj.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Kamal Al-Sharafi welcomed the delegation, expressing his happiness with this visit represented by NATUF which aimed to communicate and cooperate between the two institutions in the interest to serve the community in general and the students of Bridge program in particular.
For his part, Mr. Hassan Oudah spoke about the NATUF and the running projects being implemented by NATUF, and the role of the organization in upgrading the level, type and efficiency of human development work through environmental and development projects carried out by the organization.
Eng. Oudah added that the project “Pre - college counseling, mentorship and fostering talents in the Gaza strip – 2017 – Bridge – program is one of the specific programs implemented by the NATUF which aims to develop the personal, academic and soft skills of the students of Bridge – Palestine - program in the Gaza Strip. Moreover, to enhance their chances of joining distinctive and specialized universities. The project includes many academic activities, such as holding academic and guidance meetings for students under the supervision of academic mentors and specialized pedagogical in this field and the implementation of extracurricular activities that aimed at building the personal and soft skills of participants through the conduct of activities, initiatives and training courses to motivate them to develop their skills and their talents. As well as to enhance the building of the skills of participants in various fields and hobbies according to their tendency to join the clubs of science and technology, sports and arts and other activities that contribute to achieve the exact, definitive objectives of the project ..
