Natuf for Environment and Community Development has initiated the implementation of “Pre-college Counseling Mentorship and Fostering Talents Program in the Gaza Strip2017- Bridge Palestine” through implementation of Preparatory workshop on Thursday March 30 2017 at Al Mathaf Hotel in presence of Bridge students, Taawon, mentors, precollege & project staff
It is worth to mention that Natuf for Environment and Community Development signed the project’s agreement with Taawon Association on March 7, 2017. In which, the project will be executed through seven consecutive months, starting from March 2017 and ending in Oct 2017.
The project aims to develop the personal, academic, and soft skills of Bridge Palestine Program’s students in the Gaza Strip, and strengthen their opportunities in attending world-class universities. This project includes many academic activities including academic and guidance meetings for the enrolled students under the supervision of academic mentors and pre-college counselor specialized in this field. Also, this project executes extracurricular activities meant to build the personal and soft skills of the participants through conducting activities, initiatives, and training courses to motivate them to develop their skills and talents. Moreover, this project aims to strengthen the development of the participants’ skills and hobbies as they like by attending science and technology, sports and the arts clubs. In addition to other activities that contribute to the achievement of the specific goals of this project.
This project comes in response to achieve the strategic objectives of the NATUF in the coming years which contributes in improvement of educational level for youth as well as working to raise the level of culture for them
