With “Silatech” Support; Welfare Association Implements an Assessment for the Youth of “Wagd” Program

With “Silatech” Support; Welfare Association Implements an Assessment for the Youth of “Wagd” Program With “Silatech” the leading regional association, which support, create vacations and expand the economic opportunities for young people in the Arab World. Welfare Association launched an assessment on the management and leadership skills for young people, graduates, the professional diplomas and the vocational training programs from Wagd program beneficiaries. By using a test called “ Paving “ set by Silatech to measure the cognitive and personal capabilities for the candidates, then determine the proper intervention spheres for each of them.
In this context, in partnership with NATUF for Environment and Community Development an assessment “Tamheed” has been implemented with youth from both genders of Wagd Program beneficiaries. This assessment last for three days sequentially. Hence, once the reports of the youth need are ready, a special training will be designed upon their reports to direct them to proper places fit with their capabilities.
It should be noted that, Welfare Association and Silatech Foundation; signed a memorandum of understanding last year to enable a group of university students in their final stages and also a graduates from different faculties such as technical and vocational colleges beneficiaries of Wagd program which provide the well care for the youth orphans offended by the Israeli offense at Gaza 2014. It also provide the necessary training for them to get better opportunities to run and produce the best in their work after graduation. This partnership comes with the encouragement of Qatar Development Fund and its representatives to strengthen and promote the relationship between all the activate associations to server the students and the orphans graduates in Gaza strip integrally.
Wagd Program, launched by “Welfare Association”, Qatar Fund for Development: the main Funder of this program with a prominent contribution of Bank of Palestine and Haj Hashim Atta Al Shawwa Fund for permanent charities, to support the youth orphans offended by Israeli Offence at Gaza 2014, to enable them to live in dignity, to realize their aspirations and hopes to become active members in their community.
