NATUF for Environment & Community Development organization arrange awards ceremony to give prizes to the best environmental initiative NATUF for Environment & Community Development organization organized the awards ceremony for the best environmental initiative for the students within the summer school project for Bridge program in Gaza for the first year, which was funded by the Welfare Association in cooperation and partnership of NATUF implementation. The ceremony held in Thailandy restaurant on Tuesday, 6th of December, 2016, in the presence of chairman of BoD, Eng. Hatem Hassouna, Mr. Samir Skaik, Manager of the summer school project in Bridge program, and Eng. Raafat Abu Sha’ban, project coordinator, of Youth and Culture in Welfare Association, with a group of specialists in the environmental field.
In his turn, Mr. Hatem Hassouna welcomed the attendees expressing his appreciation for the participation of students in the environmental competition, stressing on the necessity of persisting such an initiative that supports social and environmental sector.
Eng. Raafat Abu Sha’ban emphasis on his continuous support to the youth sector as well as the environmental field which serves various sectors of society.
At the end of the ceremony, a thanking certificates were given to all of the proposed environmental initiatives, as the student Rawaan Goma’a won the award “ iPhone Mobile “ offered by Qatari Ambassador Mr. Mohammad Ismail Al Emadi the Chairman of the reconstruction committee in Gaza.
