The Palestinian Islamic Bank donates to establish Water Desalination Plant with a capacity of 25 cups The Palestinian Islamic Bank has signed on an agreement with NATUF association to establish a project for water desalination plant with a capacity of 25 cups in Beit Lahia town.
The agreement signed in the headquarters of the regional administration of the bank in Gaza, by Mr. Aziz Hammad the General Manager of the Southern provinces, the Chairman of BoD for NATUF, and Mr. Ramy Hussain.
Hammad has said that the bank donated to do this project because he believed in the importance of the sustainable development especially in the vital sectors, which the public need to significantly water as a sector. In addition, this project will be the first of other special projects during the current year.
Hammad has said that the bank is committed to the community to provide what it needs to achieve all the purposes, which call to support and offer a decent life for the public. He mentioned other sectors such as education and health.
Hammad has praised NATUF association for its efforts to develop the community. He also declared that the Palestinian Islamic Bank allocated large budgets for community development.
According to the perspective or sustainable development, which considered as one of the pillars of the economic future and the appearance of a civilized social active participation of the private sector.
The Eng. Hatem Hassouna has thanked the Palestinian Islamic Bank on its generous donation, and its responsiveness to solve the drinking water problem as the residents of the area in Beit Lahia suffered a lot from it.
Mr. Hassouna confirmed on this project as the first step to build a strategic relationship with the bank, and called the other national association to contribute in such projects related to the society.
It's worth to mention that the Palestinian Islamic Bank had offered almost 750 thousand US dollars over the past year to vital and important sectors such as health, education and culture.
